Eurostar drives urban renewal in London

The inauguration of Saint Pancras as the new Eurostar terminal in London on Wednesday also heralds the renewal of the rundown neighbourhood surrounding it. Efforts to bring the area up to the same glitzy standard as the new international rail terminal have already led to the building of new commercial and residential space, and the first signs of Eurostar-driven gentrification.
