The Japanese lunar probe "Serene" is first to film an 'Earthset' like this in high definition. The sequence was filmed from 380,000 kilometres (236,121 miles) away from Earth.In the image, the Australian continent, whose image is turned upside down and the Asian continent, can be seen on Earth as the image was taken when the lunar probe was over the South Pole of the moon.It was launched by H-2A rocket in September and placed into lunar orbit since October.Reuters QuickCut is a video snapshot of the most compelling images from around the world.
