Misery for European rail travellers

In France, transport and energy workers are protesting over President Nicolas Sarkozy's planned pension reforms. In Germany, train drivers extended their strike on freight services to passenger trains as part of a long-running wage dispute with rail operator Deutsche Bahn. Amid fears of the strike's impact on Europe's largest economy, Deutsche Bahn warns that the strike is costing millions of euros per day.Joanna Partridge reports
