Voters in Northern Ireland will be electing a new Northern Ireland Assembly - and that could bring to pass a permanent local power sharing government between two factions traditionally bitterly opposed, the Protestant unionists who want to keep Northern Ireland united with Britain and Catholic republicans who want a united Ireland. The last attempt to share power collapsed five years ago leaving Northern Ireland under direct rule from London. Now Britain and Ireland are keen to end political stalemate...
