New research from the employment firm Peninsula reveals that 8 in 10 UK employees who access work email spend 20 minutes per night responding to messages and 6 in 10 admit to responding to work email from the bathroom. With workers demonstrating such dedication to work matters, why are so many prevented from accessing social networks from their desks? And might businesses actually be doing themselves a disservice by taking such a hardline?Matt Cowan has the story.
