Correa could be new President

Exit polls put Correa ahead of his rival, banana magnate Alvaro Noboa. Correa is a trained U.S economist who has worried Wall Street with talk of debt renegotiation. Political analysts say even if Correra becomes President he'll find it difficult to push reforms through Congress as he has no representatives there.
