South Korea's worst oil spill

The Hong Kong-registered Hebei Spirit began leaking an estimated 10,500 tonnes of crude oil on Friday (December 7) when a crane mounted on a barge punched holes in its hull while the tanker was anchored off Daesan port about 110 km (70 miles) southwest of Seoul.
