Through Europe without a passport

That's because the European Union's passport-free Schengen zone will be expanded on December 21st to include nine more states, which are mostly former communist countries in eastern Europe. New Schengen members including the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary will now be responsible for the EU's external borders. But some "old" EU states bordering newer members have expressed immigration and security concerns.
