Bali 'road map' for climate pact

Weary delegates gave the United States an ovation after the world's top greenhouse gas emitter abruptly dropped opposition to a proposal by the main developing-nation bloc, the G77, for rich nations to do more to help the developing world fight rising greenhouse emissions. The U.N.-led talks saw early 200 nations agree to launch negotiations on a new pact to curb carbon emissions.
