Iran grapples with inflation

Iran's former president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani spoke out against President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's economic policies, on Friday, accusing him of fighting inflation with slogans and making excessive imports. Ahmadinejad has rejected such charges, saying his rivals and the global economy are responsible for Iranian inflation, which is expected to top 16 percent at the end of the year. Voiced report
