Massacre threatens fragile peace

At least 27 people have been killed in the worst violence to hit Nepal this year. Police have been scouring sugarcane farms in the southeast for bodies after the bloody clashes between former Maoist rebels and an ethnic group.Officials said the two sides attacked each other with guns and bamboo sticks after a row broke out when they both selected the same venue for a public meeting.
