Kidnap fears grow among aid workers, foreigners in Kandahar

The kidnapping this week of six Afghan aid workers near Kandahar has raised fears that an emboldened Taliban movement has a new tactic in its fight against the government in Kabul and its foreign supporters, officials and development agencies say.
