US buyers skip London Fashion Week

Even before the first model took to the catwalk at London's fashion week -- the side-stepping of two major U.S. buyers to the London catwalk was on everyone's lips. Hilary Riva, the Chief Executive of the British Fashion Council said January's stock market crash coupled with a weakening U.S. dollar versus the British pound forced two buyers to overlook London fashion week in favour of the Paris and Milan shows.
