Hezbollah threat as Hariri mourned
February 14, 2008
Tens of thousands massed in the heart of Beirut to mark the third anniversary of Hariri's assassination. His killing sparked anti-Syrian protests that led to the withdrawal of Syrian troops from Lebanon. In the Lebanese capital's southern suburbs, the Shi'ite militant group Hezbollah held funeral services for Imad Mughniyeh, a top commander killed in a car bomb attack in Syria on Tuesday night. Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah blamed Israel and warned his group's war with it is not over.
