Eco-tourism a hit in Bay of Bengal

Saint Martin island is in the Bay of Bengal, 14 kms off the country's southernmost town of Teknaf. It's become a magnet for locals and tourists alike. Five or ten years ago, fewer than 200 people dared to cross the choppy sea to get to the island and most returned before nightfall. Now more than 3,000 arrive every day and stay overnight.
