Spy satellite strike 'successful'

According to officials, the US Navy strike was able to hit the target on its first attempt, averting the possibility that the satellite could hit Earth after re-entry. The satellite had been carrying hydrazine fuel which, in high volumes, can cause damage to the liver, kidneys and the central nervous system.
