Train crashes in Paris station

Up to 50 people were injured on Thursday when a train carrying hundreds of rush hour commuters smacked into the rail buffer of a Paris station, sending passengers flying. The nine-wagon train carrying 600 people was traveling at slow speed when it hit the stopper at the Gare de l'Est station, in eastern Paris, but a commuter told AFP that the impact was still "very strong" and pasengers were thrown to the floor.
