Karachi children protest cartoon

Last month's reprinting of a cartoon of the Prophet Mohammad in several Danish newspapers prompted the protest. It follows last weekend's order by Pakistani authorities for internet service providers to block the popular YouTube Web site after it ran material deemed insulting to Islam. Authorities justified the order, saying it was necessary to avoid unrest in the overwhelming Muslim country of 160 million people. The ban was lifted on Wednesday (February 27) after YouTube removed the material.
