Nigerian election

Nigerians cast their ballots in the first of two polls, with a presidential vote to follow in a week's time. Voting began hours late in many regions and turnout was uneven. In the largest city Lagos and many other parts of the country, elections took place normally with complaints focusing on identification and technical issues.
