Bugbane: It's Now Actaea, But Still Wonderful

Recently the latin name of a plant I love changed. It use to be called Cimicifuga butthe plant folks that be changed the name to Actaea to have it in with its generic counterparts. No matter,I still love the plant and the common name is still bugbane. Its a great plant because it blooms late. Some varieties will bloom in early August while others will waitand flirt with the first frosts of late September and October....
