Warner takes center stage in Denver

Former Virginia Gov. Mark Warner, a U.S. Senate candidate, was the keynote speaker, at the Democratic National Convention, filling a role that shot Obama to political fame at the Democratic convention in Boston in 2004 Warner, a moderate who had success winning over rural voters in normally Republican areas said the election was not about liberal vs conservative. He said America had "only one shot to get it right" and Obama and Democrats had to reach across party lines to find success.
