Record set for reciting 'Daodejing'

April 21, 2007

Nearly 14 thousand people in Hong Kong set a new Guinness World Record for reciting the Chinese Tao Classic Daodejing. The event was organised by The China Religious Culture Communication Association and The Chinese Taoist Association, as part of the "International Forum on Daodejing". The attempt set the new world record for the "most people reading aloud simultaneously in one location".
