Greek and Turkish Cypriot leaders launch talks in what is seen as the best chance in decades to reunite their divided island. Greek Cypriot President Demetris Christofias and Turkish Cypriot President Mehmet Ali Talat met for 90 minutes in the no man's land dividing their capital, Nicosia. Cyprus has been divided since 1974, and its partitioned status is a headache for the European Union. It's hoped the talks between these two moderates can end a conflict which threatens Turkey's EU membership hopes. Joanna Partridge reports for Reuters
