Toyota Challenges Nissan in Lithium-Ion Battery Msrket

05/23/08 Toyota has formed a joint venture with Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. to challenge Nissan/NEC Group by announcing that they too are building a plant to produce new lithium-ion batteries for future "green" cars.
