Hawking gets a taste of zero gravity
April 27, 2007
British physicist Stephen Hawking takes a flight in a specially modified jet to experience the weightlessness of space. The jet is designed to dive through the sky to give passengers an experience of zero gravity. The ride which normally costs 3500 dollars was courtesy of Florida-based Zero G Corporation that operates a commercial zero-gravity service similar to what NASA uses to train astronauts.
