MAVRIXPHOTO.COM Nick Bollea's (aka Nick Hogan) father, Terry Bollea (Hulk Hogan), sister Brooke and mom Linda attend Nick's sentencing hearing today for reckless driving with serious bodily injury. During the trial, a tearful Brooke spoke about her relationships with her brother and with John Graziano who was severly injured in the crash. Hulk and Brooke listened intently as Nick was being sentenced. Once the sentence was announced, Pinellis County Sheriff's bailiffs had Nick remove his tie as they prepared to take him into custody. Nick was sentenced to eight months in jail, five years probation during which he is to serve 500 hours of community service, and a three-year suspension of his driver's licence. The sentence stems from the August 6, 2007 car accident that left Hogan's best friend, John Graziano, in critical condition. The presiding judge specifically asked that Bollea use his community service to do something positive "that reflects what John [Graziano] did in his service to our country as a Marine." Also, citing Hogan's age and lack of any prior criminal record (other than a series of speeding tickets the judge deemed to show a "cavalier" attitude behind the wheel), the judge didn't force Hogan into a guilty verdict, allowing his "no contest" plea to stand. Nick will also not have a felony conviction on his record when he turns 18 later in the summer. Tampa, FL.
