World day of action for Darfur

April 29, 2007

Protests in 35 capitals around the globe to urge international action over Sudan's four-year conflict. Celebrities, including Hugh Grant and Thandi Newton, have added their weight to the Global Day for Darfur which condemns the international community for standing by as the conflict claimed 200, 000 lives and displaced two and half million people.
