LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - Tuesday December 11 2007. **EXCLUSIVE VIDEO** Comedian George Carlin, a counter culture hero famed for his routines about drugs and dirty words, dies of heart failure at an LA hospital on Sunday June 22. Carlin can be seen here as he signs books and dvds for his fans as they queue to meet him at an event in November 2007. One fan shows off a vinyl record which George made years ago, it was the first in the fan's 50,000 strong collection. A second fan gets very upset when she's asked to stand up so that no-one steps on her whilst waiting in the queue.
