UK recession warning

A further prediction of recession for the UK, while informed opinion in France and Germany suggests economies almost flatlining in Q3. The British Chamber of Commerce's gloomy quarterly report for the UK also sees unemployment rising by more than a quarter of a million and urges the Bank of England to cut interest rates before the end of the year.
