Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson discover fame doesn't get you a quick cab in New York City

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - Lindsay Lohan and gal pal Samantha Ronson seen strolling in New York City surrounded by paparazzi. The ladies were looking for a cab, but like all citizens, had troubled flagging one down. Samantha wandered off in a different direction at one stage in an attempt to find one of the elusive vehicles, leaving a bewildered Lindsay saying "Please don't leave me!". They couple then took refuge in a shop, with Samantha exiting shortly afterwards and successfully hailing a taxi, which sped off down a Manhattan street. Monday July 28 2008.
