Tiger Woods put it all on the line and closed out his season out with a sensational 19th hole playoff win over Rocco Mediate. Woods called time out on his career to have surgery on his damaged left knee, he'll be out for the rest of the season and his absence from the game will be sorely felt.Woods' surgery, his third procedure on his left knee in the last five years will keep him out for at least 6-8 months. Woods admitted however, that he went against his doctor's orders, pushing his body to the limit by playing the Open. Asked afterwards if he had injured himself further, he offered a one-word answer: "Maybe."
