Opposition rally draws thousands

The Social Democrat challenger is President Hugo Chavez's main rival in December's presidential elections. Thousands responded to his call to march through the capital for what he dubbed a "Caracas Avalanche" - a riposte to Hugo Chavez's "Red Wave". Opinion polls put the Venezuelan leader's support at more than 50 per cent, and Senor Morales has a lot to fo if he's to unseat President Chavez.
