Voluntary evacuations as Ike approaches

Hurricane Ike is growing stronger as it swirls across the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Forecasters say Ike could strengthen into a major Category 3 storm before hitting Texas or northern Mexico on Saturday. (Sept. 10)
