Cannes: 60 Years On

A week and a half of airkissing, dealmaking and networking is set to hit the south of France on Wednesday as the 60th Cannes film festival gets underway. What began as a way of the French cinema industry to celebrate a handful of arthouse films has now blown into a approximately 25 films vying for the top prize, the P'alme dor. Despite that, it seems what happens inside the cinemas sometimes don't compare with the spectacle outside.
