Madagascar Mayor takes charge

Andry Rajoelina declares himself in charge of the Indian Ocean island after leading rallies against the president for a week. After a week of civil unrest in Madagascar's capital, Antananarivo, Rajoelina told jubilant supporters that he is now in charge. According the U.S ambassador more than 100 people have died during the political crisis that has gripped the island, which is popular with tourists and foreign investors.
