Emotional exit for Agassi

The 36-year-old American, eight times a Grand Slam champ, sat down courtside and let the tears flow after losing the last match of his career to German qualifier Benjamin Becker 7-5 6-7 6-4 7-5 in the third-round. The wildly partisan crowd at Arthur Ashe Stadium stood and cheered before the final point and the ovation continued after Becker's 27th ace closed out the match. Agassi said the standing ovation he got from his fellow players in the locker room afterwards had overwhelmed him. Reporters at his farewell news conference then gave him his third ovation of the day.
