Organic farmers feel the pinch

Britain's producers of organic food are suffering the impact of the global downturn as shoppers revert to cheaper options. In Britain the organic food market is worth more than two billion dollars annually but a report by research analysts Mintel warns the economic slump could see nearly half of organic shoppers cutting back or abandoning such produce altogether in the coming year.
