Hair-raising show

London's Freemasons' Hall hosted the world's top hairdressers to celebrate their creativity and artistic flair. The Alternative Hair Show saw eighteen international hairdressers staging their most daring and imaginative collections. The show was founded by Italian hair stylist Tony Rizzo after his young son Valentino died of leukaemia. Rizzo, who runs a chain of upscale hair saloons in the United Kingdom, felt a need to do something concrete to help others in his situation and founded the Leukaemia Research Fund. The Alternative Hair Show is one of the charity's core fund-raising events, pulling in large audiences year after year.
