Gloom in Europe's biggest economy

German corporate sentiment sinks for the fourth month running in September, dropping to its lowest level since May 2005. Firms in Europe's biggest economy are growing gloomy about their prospects after turmoil in the financial markets, and investors' concerns could be seen on Frankfurt's DAX index. Despite relatively sound fundamentals, the world's biggest exporter of goods is now also suffering from an end to the export boom. Joanna Partridge reports for Reuters
