German soldiers among bomb victims

A suicide bomber targets the northern Afghan province of Kunduz claiming the lives of three German soldiers and four civilians. At least fourteen others were also injured in the blast which happened as troops were on foot patrol in Kunduz City. In a separate attack on Saturday a remote-controlled bomb exploded near Jalalabad killing a police chief and another officer.
