Business Update: Bernanke helps

U.S. stocks jumped 4 percent on Tuesday after Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke soothed Wall Street fears of a total government take-over of a big bank. The Dow rallied 236 points to 7,350. The S&P 500 gained 29 points to 773. The Nasdaq jumped 54 points to 1,441. Conway Gittens reports from New York.
