Wall Street in record spiral

A five-day slide on Wall Street for the Dow and S&P 500 brought those key indices to their biggest losing streak on record. Investors continued to dump equities on worries actions by the Federal Reserve will not be enough to get the credit markets going again. The Dow dropped 508 points to 9,447. The S&P 500 fell 60 points to 996. The Nasdaq lost 108 points to 1,754. Crude oil rose to $96.06 a barrel SPEAKER: Maria Fiorini Ramirez, chief economist, MFR Inc.
