FW Council Denies Chesapeake's Drilling Request

(Dallas, TX) For the first time, the Fort Worth City Council rejected Chesapeake Energy's request for a permit to drill. The high-impact well was proposed for a site along Eighth Avenue near Elizabeth Boulevard. The vote was 8-0 with one councilman abstaining.
