European stocks follow Asia fall

After falls on U.S. and Asian equities markets, European shares also head downwards as fears of a global economic slowdown mount. On Wednesday Wall Street stocks had their worst day since the 1987 crash and shares on Germany's blue chip DAX index initially fell by over five percent, before recovering slightly.
