Brits stay home to get fit

As gym memberships become an expensive luxury in today's economic climate, more and more people are choosing to exercise at home. One of the latest exercise crazes comes from Japan. The iJoyRide machine mimics horse riding by toning and tightening the muscles in your stomach and thighs as you try to keep an upright position. The number of leisure firms, including gyms, that went into administration in 2007 shot up by 15 percent. Accountancy firm Deloitte's said they expect the situation to get worse.
