Russia to help US over Afghan drugs

Russia has called for a crackdown on heroin smuggling at an international conference in Moscow organised to help tackle problems in Afghanistan. Russia is the world's biggest heroin consumer and most of the drug comes from its lawless neighbor. The Russian government is worried that if U.S.-led forces lose the battle against the Taliban, the drug trade could expand even more.
