Weak profits worry Wall St.

The tech-heavy Nasdaq fell 4.1 percent ahead of key results from Apple and Yahoo. The Dow dropped 231 points to 9,033. The S&P 500 lost 30 points to 955. The Nasdaq posted a 73 point decline to 1,696. Crude oil fell to $70.89 a barrel. SPEAKER: John Lonski, chief economist, Moody's Investor Service Conway Gittens reports from New York.
