Cannes: Hong Kong Throws Starlit Party
May 22, 2007
The Cannes film festival is about films but also parties and it's the perfect place to bring the two together. Hong Kong hosted a party with a myriad of local stars, the ideal occasion to promote a new blockbuster Tie saam gok" co-directed by three of Hong Kong's top directors: Johnnie To, Ringo Lam and Tsui Hark. The directors were on hand at the party, along with "My Blueberry Nights" director Wong Kar Wai and actors Andy Lau, Maggie Cheung, Simon Yam and Louis Koo. Images of the event.
