Thousands flee Lebanon fighting

A fragile truce between the army and the Fatah al-Islam group is reported to be holding, allowing much needed aid to enter the battered Palestinian refugee camp in northern Lebanon, which is home to around 40,000 civilians. The lull, after three days of heavy fighting, sparked a mass exodus as thousands of refugees poured out of the camp.
