Fire-walk with faith

On May 21, Saint Constantine's day, an ancient tradition lives on in a handful of villages in northern Greece: that of fire-walking or anastenaria. To the sound of drums and carrying icons, the devout dance on glowing embers and suffer no ill effects. A report from Lagadas, north of Thessaloniki.
